Your next big growth could come from Legos!

Our big story from this week talks about the growth potential of Lego islands, through the return of the Lego Row on the front page.

It’s no secret Epic is pushing the Lego collaboration further and further, and with the latest update, it could be the key to getting featured on the front of the Fortnite Discover row.

In the Fortnite Creative and UEFN Discord server, user [Epic] Flak mentioned the Lego discover row would be making a comeback very soon…

Learning Resource of the week

We’re kicking off Learning this week with a great GDC talk from Epic themselves, and we think is a priceless watch to our Creator community. Understanding how to leverage the Fortnite Creative tools, understanding the ecosystem and their “Featured” algorithm will be essential to being a successful creator.

The QA section at the end, goes into greater detail about getting featured, something we feel you’ll all want to see!

Island Spotlight of the week

Body Cam - JSFilmz

Coming in for our first Island spotlight, “Body Cam”, remade in Fortnite is a great example of the range the Fortnite engine has. The island has a completely different look than your traditional creative island by using a range of market place assets, a custom camera position and some great post processing techniques to achieve that iconic “fish eye” camera view. While we all wait for the hotly anticipated official first person camera view, creative designers like JSFilmz are working with what they can to achieve the effect, with relative success!

The past weeks have shown the Body Cam map reach more and more players, growing in popularity and there are now, more than 8 Body Cam maps to choose from!

JSFilmz has been putting in the hard work, rolling these out and deserves some eyes on their island. Go Check them out!
